Be advised, all marriage licenses have a expiration date.
Marriage license are only active/valid for 60 days from the 24hr mark after obtaining the marriage license.
This information is listed on Nyc licenses on the top area to the left in small print.

For marriage licenses from outside of Project Cupid such as but not limited to Long Island or Upstate counties, this information can be found on the bottom area to the right of the seal below the signatures.
If your license is expired you must contact the city clerk for a reissue of the license, also you need to repay the fee to the city clerk.
